On 29th October 2024, the Year 5 classes of Otto-Pankok School experienced a special day at the Gruga in Essen. Accompanied by their class teachers, Mrs Paulus and Mrs Nazaradeh (5a), Mrs Beckers and Mrs Krach (5b), as well as Mrs Barth and Mrs Lange (5c), the students participated in the "Knowledge and Movement" project organised by the School of Nature.
Despite the rainy weather, the students did not let their spirits be dampened. They demonstrated courage and trust in cooperative games, which strengthened teamwork and communication within the group. At the same time, they trained their dexterity and learned a lot about the fascinating plant and animal life in the tropical house.
This day impressively showed how much fun learning and movement in nature can be, even in rainy weather. A heartfelt thank you to the School of Nature for the exciting programme and our friendly team leaders!
